Does The Pope Goes For Confession? by blackbriar(op): 5:23pm On Mar 02, 2017
Absolutely. According to reports, he goes weekly (which is about the same frequency that many very serious Catholics do so).

As others have noted, any priest could hear the Pope's Confession (there is, in fact, a requirement of geographical jurisdiction, but since it is a matter of Canon Law, we can assume that if the Pope asks a priest, "Will you please hear my Confession?" then it is automatically implied that he is granting that priest ad hoc jurisdiction). However he will usually (i.e. pretty much always) go to a specific priest, generally unknown to the public, who acts as his personal confessor.
