Defence:

1. Uche Henry Agbo (Granada FC, Spain)

Uche Henry Agbo (born 4 December 1995), is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Spanish club Granada CF, on loan from English club Watford, as either a central defender or a defensive midfielder

Club career:
Born in Kano, Uche started playing for local lowly Bai Boys, and moved to Taraba in 2010. In May 2011 he signed for JUTH, and appeared regularly for the side, scoring once.
In January 2012 Uche joined Enyimba International along with teammate James Amankwei.[4] He made his debut for the club on 28 April 2013, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 2–0 win against Dolphins.[5]
In October 2013, Uche went on a trial at Udinese,[6] signing a four-year deal in the following month.[7] In March 2014 he moved to Granada CF, linking up with the Andalusians also until 2018 and being assigned to the reserves in Segunda División B.

On 23 February 2015 Uche made his first team – and La Liga – debut, replacing Javi Márquez in the dying minutes of a 1–2 away loss against Levante UD. On 25 July of the following year, he signed a five-year contract with Premier League club Watford, being immediately loaned back to Granada for one year.

International career:
Uche got his first call up to the senior Nigeria side to replace the injured Leon Balogun for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia in October 2016.

Chidozie Awaziem:

Chidozie Collins Awaziem (born 1 January 1997) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Portuguese club FC Porto as a central defender.

Club career:
Born in Enugu, Awaziem joined FC Porto from Portugal in 2014, where he spent his last year as a junior and won the corresponding league title. His senior debuts where made with the B-team, in the Segunda Liga.

On 27 January 2016, aged 19, Awaziem appeared in his first competitive game with the main squad, featuring the full 90 minutes in a 0–2 away loss against C.D. Feirense for the Taça da Liga. His maiden appearance in the Primeira Liga took place on 12 February, as he again started in a 2–1 win at S.L. Benfica due to an injury crisis to the defensive sector.

International career
Aged 19, Awaziem was called up by Nigeria for friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg, on 27 and 31 May 2016.

3. Tyronne Ebuehi:

Tyronne Ebuehi (born 16 December 1995 in Haarlem) is a Dutch footballer who currently plays as a right back for Dutch Eredivisie club ADO Den Haag

Club career:
Ebuehi is a youth exponent from ADO Den Haag. He made his Eredivisie debut at 10 August 2014 in a 0-1 home defeat against Feyenoord Rotterdam

International career:
Although born in The Netherlands, Ebuehi is also eligible to play for Nigeria due to his parents. In November 2016, Ebuehi was called up to the Nigeria national team for the first time for a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Algeria. However, Ebuehi declined the call-up

this time around he will be available and the question is can he be the man Nigeria is looking to solve the defence problem?

4. Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi:
This name at the international level need little introduction

Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi (born 16 December 1996), known as Wilfred Ndidi, is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Leicester City and the Nigeria national football team as a midfielder. He is known for his versatility and can play across the back line and in midfield.

Youth career;

Ndidi spent his youth years at Nath Boys Academy in Lagos. Ndidi's development saw him start out as a forward or striker. He then began to play as a central defender for Nigeria's youth teams and at the 2013 African U-17 Championship. He won numerous accolades while at Nath Boys.

Club career:

Genk:

Ndidi made his Belgian Pro League debut with Genk on 31 January 2015 against Charleroi in a 1–0 away defeat. He played the first 74 minutes of the game, before being substituted for Jarne Vrijsen. He played a full back role in that game before returning to the centre-back position he played at the Nath Boys academy. He displayed a wide range of passing and shooting and began to be deployed as a central midfielder for the rest of the season.

During the Belgian League play-off game against Club Brugge, Ndidi scored a long-range goal, which was named the goal of the season in the Belgian league. After receiving an attempted-clearance outside the penalty box, he lofted the ball smoothly over an opposing player before unleashing a ferocious volley into the top right corner. The ball was adjudged to be travelling at over 111 km/h. He scored two more goals before the end of the play-offs including another volley from outside the box against Anderlecht in a 5–2 win. He received the award as the third-best young player in the Belgian league for the 2015–16 season.

Leicester City:

On 3 December 2016, Genk agreed a £17 million transfer deal with English champions Leicester City.[7][8] The deal was confirmed on 5 January 2017.

Ndidi made his debut for the club on 7 January 2017, in a 2–1 win against Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.[10] He made his first Premier League start on 14 January 2017 against Chelsea at home in a 3–0 defeat. In the English FA Cup game against Derby County on February 8, 2017, Ndidi came on in the first half of extra time and scored his first goal for Leicester through a long-range shot.
International career:

Ndidi was part of the Nigerian youth setup during his time at Nathaniel Boys of Lagos. While playing the African U-17 Championship with Nigeria, he was excluded along with two other players from the competition as a precaution, following an MRI test that showed he was just slightly above the threshold. Notwithstanding, he joined up with his teammates in the U-20 team the following year, forming the bedrock of the midfield. He was called up to the Senior Nigeria national football team on October 8, 2015, making his debut in the friendly game against DR Congo, and playing again a few days days later in the 3–0 win against Cameroon, when he replaced John Obi Mikel in the 63rd minute.

He was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics.
