A very popular pentecostal church in Nigeria manages a football club that currently play in the Nigeria premier league. Could this be ok? Where did they got the money to manage the club? Well, generally, is it right or proper for a Bible believing church to own a football club?

OP do findings before you talk. Renaming a football club to your business name is a Marketing strategy to get people more aware about your business.

A club sells naming rights to raise funds for the club, such like in German leagure, Red Bull drinks but the naming rights for Leipzeig and now RB leipzeig

MFM FC is a naming right deal, the church do not contribute more than the financial implications indicated in the deal.

OP you can rename Lagos to your name and pay Lagos for the naming rights. Its a marketing strategy.

Its not wrong. Football itself is not against any Biblical principle, is an avenue for bringing people together, and best of all, there's nothing more beautiful than propagating the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through Sports.
