How many groups do they expect the President to meet. They should better collapse their militant groups into one, so that their agitation would be heard speedily. |

seunlly: Brother they are not interested in regrets. Government should address them properly. That is needful. You can see the economy picking up, crude output increased and foreign reserve keep appreciating because the pipe line bombing stopped for sometime. Let us not undermine the harm militants can cause to economy and society at large. |

abdulkabirO:They are not bombing their state, rather they are bombing your stomach, your finances and your future economic prospect. Sometimes it is good to think before you type. If you cannot see anything wrong with the behaviour of our politicians which is the root cause of the mess we are into today, definitely something is wrong somewhere. 1 Like |

It is unfortunate that the Niger Delta militants are directing their violent activities to the wrong channels, from what I watched on the Aljazeera TV channel recently and from the level of devastations and people still living in stone age despite the fact that Niger Delta is what is known as Nigeria till date I would have been membership of the militant group if I had been a Niger Deltan but with different direction. The extreme devastation being witnessed in Niger Delta are the work of the extra ordinarily corrupt leadership that have been leading the Niger Deltans from inceptions Starting from the ruling Governors, to the political representatives at all the houses : the two houses of the National Assembly ,the state houses of assembly, the local government and all those who branded themselves as local leaders as all these people are super rich Or how do you imagine a former retired Permanent Secretary who claimed to be Ijaw leader now having a private University and several other multi billion Naira businesses. What about the case of a so called militant leader having private primary, secondary and University in a foreign land. The case of the political leaders from the Governors to the assembly representatives at the national, state, and local government level and to the least counselors all these are super rich at expense of the poverty stricken of more than 99% of the entire population of Niger Delta . The governors, former and serving are rich enough to even convert the entire states into private properties. What about a former first lady who became billion dollars. Get to Abuja the most expensive houses in special areas are owned by Niger Delta thieves who claimed to be leaders of their people. Banana Island in Lagos is another destination of Niger Delta embezzler leaders. So with what I saw on Aljazeera TV channel if I had been a Niger Deltan I would have joined a militant group and our major assignment would have been to deal decisively with our so called leaders who have led the entire region back to the stone age why they and their immediate families are living in extreme affluence. |

obyrich:What you said is exactly what suits your reaction, these people have leaders don't they ?who are those leaders?did they collect money either before now or anytime before ?where are these monies?Abi?I don't understand the rationale behind these bombings,go to leaders who have been given money by the government for your upkeep and ask for your right.it is totally wrong when they face the FG asking for their Rights this is because they have some people that they delegated themselves...so wise up bro and stop allowing your brain to be caged The economy is already recovering little by little from the damage of depending on oil and when that happens, I hope you guys won't channel your oil to Atlantic ocean to flow away |
