The ancient egyptians were not berbers either, They had an Eritrean Origin but Nilo-saharan culture(ultimately derived from cultures of the Niger-Congo area, that is why you can tell a lot of cultural similarities between ancient Egypt(especially pre-dynastic upper egypt) and old west and central african culture
