Why Jesus Needed To Be Born By A Virgin by Nobody: 4:13am On Mar 12, 2017
Isaiah, 7:14 "therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son"
Luke 1:35"The Holyghost shall come upon thee and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee:therefore also that Holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God"

Isaiah prophesied about d virgin birth of Jesus and 700 years later it came to pass. The purpose of the virgin Birth of Jesus was not to show how miraculous God is, but rather for d sole purpose of his mission on earth.
Jesus could have still been d most powerful man who ever lived on earth if he was born of the seed of a man. Even Moses had to be born of the seed of man. D greatest prophets came from d seed of man so it has nothing to do wit power.
Why was Jesus born of a virgin?
When Adam disobeyed God d power of sin took over d earth, hence every man born into d world was born with d nature of sin. D devil and sin ruled over d earth because man had d greatest authority on earth but lost it to the devil.

Looking back at exodus and leviticus, Lev 4:32 And if he bring a lamb, he shall bring it a female without blemish.
God always demanded sacrifice of animals without blemish for Washing away every type of sin. In all God always demanded blood. Because every sin deserves death but only life can be used in exchange for life and life is in the blood.

If a blood had to be shed for d remission of sin den dat blood had to come from a pureSource without any spot. No man born of d seed of man was qualified to be dat sacrifice because there was death or sin in d blood of every man born of d seed of man. Jesus wouldn't have been a perfect sacrifice if the came from d seed of man. That was the reason why God had to use his own seed for that purpose. Dat made Jesus the perfect lamb for the atonement of sin.

His soul purpose of coming to the earth was to wipe away d sins of man. Israel made an atonement which kept dem free from sin for one year and after dat it had to be renewed. Lev 16:1-34. But the blood of Jesus was a one time sacrifice for eternity.
Someone asked me one day how possible was it that the creator of the world (John 1:1-3) came on earth to die? I told him dat was the strongest sacrifice dat can ever be made to wipe away the greatest sin on earth.
Dat blood is strong enof to cleanse a murderer, strong enof to cleanse a rapist, strong enof to cleanse a terrorist, strong enof to cleanse a robber. There is no more need to continue dying in sin and guilt, the lamb has been sacrificed, John 3:14-15" And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lifted up. That whosoever (it doesn't matter your past, irrespective of what you have done) that believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Why die in your sin?
Why perish in your iniquities?
Why live in your guilt?
Jesus has died, the costliest sacrifice has been made, all a man has to do is toBelieve in him.
THERE IS A SPACE IN UR HEART THAT ONLY JESUS CAN FILL UP. HE IS NOT TIRED OF CALLING THE SINNERS. COME HOME

Stars, meteors, and heavenly lights allegedly signaled the birth of many
man-gods, including Christ, Yu, Lao-tzu, various Roman Caesars, and
Buddha. This parallels the strange and fantastic events
that surround the births of purely mythological figures, such as Osiris
in Syria, Trinity in Egypt, and Mithra in Persia.

Two thousand years before Christ, the virgin Egyptian queen Mut-em-
ua gave birth to Pharaoh Amenkept III. Mut-em-ua had been told she
was with child by the god Taht, and the god Kneph impregnated her by
holding a cross, the symbol of life, to her mouth. Amenkept’s birth was
celebrated by the gods and by three kings, who offered him gifts. (Notice the exact similarities to the birth of Jesus?)

According to academia, there are at least 32 stories of other virgin
births in ancient cultures of bygone eras. The legends of the
surrounding pagan cultures were so influential in the first century that
the Early Church was forced to imitate and incorporate them to have
their ‘new’ Christian religion accepted.

Here are just a parallel between Horus and Jesus.

Horus
The Legend of Horus is one of the most ancient myths in Egypt, and it
was central to the ancient Egyptian state religion. He was worshipped
three thousand years before Jesus and his worship lasted into the
common era. The followers of Horus invaded Egypt in pre-dynastic
history (before 3000 B.C.E.).
He is often shown as an infant cradled by his mother Isis. He avenged
his father’s murder, and became recognized as the God of civil order
and justice.
Both were conceived of a virgin.
1. Both were the “only begotten son” of a god (either Osiris or
Yahweh)
2. Horus’s mother was Meri, Jesus’s mother was Mary.
3. Horus’s foster father was called Jo-Seph, and Jesus’s foster
father was Joseph.
4. Both foster fathers were of royal descent.
5. Both were born in a cave (although sometimes Jesus is said to
have been born in a stable).
6. Both had their coming announced to their mother by an angel.
7. Horus; birth was heralded by the star Sirius (the morning star).
Jesus had his birth heralded by a star in the East (the sun rises in
the East).
8. Ancient Egyptians celebrated the birth of Horus on December 21
(the Winter Solstice). Modern Christians celebrate the birth of
Jesus on December 25.
9. Both births were announced by angels (this is not the same as
number 7).
10. Both had shepherds witnessing the birth.
11. Horus was visited at birth by “three solar deities” and Jesus was
visited by “three wise men”.
12. After the birth of Horus, Herut tried to have Horus murdered. After
the birth of Jesus, Herod tried to have Jesus murdered.
13. To hide from Herut, the god That tells Isis, “Come, thou goddess
Isis, hide thyself with thy child.” To hide from Herod, an angel tells
Joseph to “arise and take the young child and his mother and flee
into Egypt.”
14. When Horus came of age, he had a special ritual where hsi eye
was restored. When Jesus (and other Jews) come of age, they
have a special ritual called a Bar Mitzvah.
15. Both Horus and Jesus were 12 at this coming-of-age ritual.
16. Neither have any official recorded life histories between the ages
of 12 and 30.
17. Horus was baptized in the river Eridanus. Jesus was baptized in
the river Jordan.
18. Both were baptized at age 30.
19. Horus was baptized by Anup the Baptizer. Jesus was baptized by
John the Baptist.
20. Both Anup and John were later beheaded.
21. Horus was taken from the desert of Amenta up a high mountain
to be tempted by his arch-rival Set. Jesus was taken from the
desert in Palestine up a high mountain to be tempted by his arch-
rival Satan.
22. Both Horus and Jesus successfully resist this temptation.
23. Both have 12 disciples.
24. Both walked on water, cast out demons, healed the sick, and
restored sight to the blind.
25. Horus “stilled the sea by his power.” Jesus commanded the sea
to be still by saying, “Peace, be still.”
26. Horus raised his dead father (Osiris) from the grave. Jesus raised
Lazarus from the grave. (Note the similarity in names when you
say them out loud. Further, Osiris was also known as Asar, which
is El-Asar in Hebrew, which is El-Asarus in Latin.)
27. Osiris was raised in the town of Anu. Lazarus was raised in
Bethanu (literally, “house of Anu”).
28. Both gods delivered a Sermon on the Mount.
29. Both were crucified.
30. Both were crucified next to two thieves.
31. Both were buried in a tomb.
32. Horus was sent to Hell and resurrected in 3
days. Jesus was sent to Hell and came back
“three days” later (although Friday night to
Sunday morning is hardly three days).
33. Both had their resurrection announced by women.
34. Both are supposed to return for a 1000-year reign.
35. Horus is known as KRST, the anointed one. Jesus was known as
the Christ (which means “anointed one”).
36. Both Jesus and Horus have been called the good shepherd, the
lamb of God, the bread of life, the son of man, the Word, the
fisher, and the winnower.
37. Both are associated with the zodiac sign of Pisces (the fish).
38. Both are associated with the symbols of the fish, the beetle, the
vine, and the shepherd’s crook.
39. Horus was born in Anu (“the place of bread”) and Jesus was born
in Bethlehem (“the house of bread”).
40. “The infant Horus was carried out of Egypt to escape the wrath of
Typhon. The infant Jesus was carried into Egypt to escape the
wrath of Herod. Concerning the infant Jesus, the New Testament
states the following prophecy: ‘Out of Egypt have I called my
son.’”
41. Both were transfigured on the mount.
42. The catacombs of Rome have pictures of the infant Horus being
held by his mother, not unlike the modern-day images of
“Madonna and Child.”
43. Noted English author C. W. King says that both Isis and Mary are
called “Immaculate”.
44. Horus says: “Osiris, I am your son, come to glorify your soul, and
to give you even more power.” And Jesus says: “Now is the Son
of Man glorified and God is glorified in him. If God is glorified in
him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at
once.”
45. Horus was identified with the Tau (cross).

This is powerful. In summary, a male lamb without blemish in the spiritual sense.
God knew the spiritual implication of being birthed by the seed of a man. You're naturally born of sin.
He came into this world without sin and when he left, he became sin so we may seem righteous before him.

Worthy is the Lamb who sit upon the throne.

God is good and he never changes.

Nice write up

If Christ was born of a virgin, where did he get his blood from?

The Islamic faith claims to believe in Yahshua whom they also say they love, but they strongly protest against any believe that says he is the Son of God cos they believe God has no wife for him to even have a son. In doing this they weaken God, cos why would anyone believe that a God who created heaven and earth and made Adam from dust would still lack the power to have a son without a wife? Well, that's not the point of this discuss.

Their Quran scriptures, which they say is directly from God, speaks of the miraculous conception of Yahshua. Pls read below.

Quran 19:20-21

She said: “How can I have a son when no man has touched me, neither have I been unchaste?” (19.20)

He said: “Thus Your Lord has said: ‘It is easy for Me. And so that We may make of him a sign for people and a mercy from Us, and it is a matter that has been ordained.’” (19.21)

From the above Quran passage, we can see that Christ was not a product of a sperm from a man. His conception was divine. Now, be patient a little as I go into brief science. It is an established fact that a man's sperm is what fertilizes a woman's egg to form a baby. That sperm develops and has its own BLOOD, provided by the father, which means that it doesn't get blood from its mother, only oxygen and nutrition.

In the case of Yahshua, who was not a product of a man's sperm fertilizing an egg, as established by the Holy Bible and the Quran, we all have the right to ask where his blood came from. If his conception was a miracle by God, as confirmed by the Bible and Quran, then it means that his blood must have come from the same God. If God is the provider of that blood, then it means that Yahshua the Messiah is the Son of the Almighty God. This also means that he didn't inherit any of the contaminated blood of sinful Adam. This is a huge reason why his blood is precious and redemptive, redeeming mankind from sin and death.

So, before Muslims go about telling us that Christ is not the son of God, they should tell us how he got his blood since they also believe he was conceived without sexual intercourse or a man's sperm involved.

Isaiah never prophesied about Jesus, that prophecy was for king Hezekiah...that the birth of a child would be a sign that his enemies alliances would fail and that he would prevail in battle against them.
how can a statement about something in 700 years time be of comfort to Hezekiah?

even the translation of that passage in the Bible you are using is wrong..

the word doesn't mean virgin but rather "young woman ".

modern day bibles translate it correctly these days, such as the RSV.
which is

"look,......... the young woman is with child/ will bear a child ,and he shall be called Emmanuel ".........

to further prove my point, Jesus was never called Emmanuel by his parents.

@OP the earlier you wake up from your delusions the better for your well being. You'll live a more peaceful life if you leave religion... No demons to be afraid of, no mammy water to fear, no hell to be terrified of, no 10% religion tax.

Religion is playing a lesser role in developed societies, the same societies that shoved their religion down our fore-fathers throats and made them abandon their traditional religion while enslaving and colonizing them.

Now you are here carrying Christianity like it's your birthright.

Try study a bit of history and religion and you'll see that religion is simply a man-made tool with the sole purpose of to controlling the masses... to tell you what to do without question and to profit those at the helm of affairs. Religion achieves this by majorly instilling fear on followers. Threatening fire and brimstone for those who disobey and promising "heaven and everlasting life" if they obey.

But I do understand where you're coming from. You're coming from a position of being heavily and mercilessly indoctrinated leading to your delusions, so much indoctrination that you believe that all those who don't believe what you believe (muslims, jews, hindus, traditionalists, atheists etc... yep all of them, billions of them ironically created by the same God) are destined for eternal suffering in a lake of fire.

The even more ironic thing is that your fellow religions believe the same ridiculous thing.. eternal damnation for unbelievers.

So who will make the so called "heaven"? (this reminds me of one thread... I'll try find it).

Whose religion is true and which is false? (spare me your biblical quotes as your fellow religions to have similar quotes, equally infallible)

All religions can't be obviously right at the same time. So you see it would be reasonable that they are all wrong.

Re: Why Jesus Needed To Be Born By A Virgin by Nobody: 7:58am On Mar 12, 2017
damagepbuh:

COME HOME

(1) Across the universe are many religions. Most of this continents, countries, communities, tribes and societies knows the depth of what they believes in while others don't really know the truth to the root of there believes. Whatsoever you teach a child in his/her tender age, he/she grows with it, and believes so much in it, just because the child is taught to believe in it. Every human being have in one point or the other thought about God, but the deception and misconceptions about the creator have left many people confused on the path that truly leads to Him, and this have made many people to become atheist. Am not much concerned with those that knows the truth to the root of there religion, but am very much concerned with those who thinks that they knows but don't really know.

(2) I don't have a problem with numerous religions in this world, but I have a problem with modernized paganism deceiving people who are truly seeking for the creator with lies, all in the name of Christianity. Many people are been misled, taught to believe that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the same God of Christians, with all the multiple errors in Christian scripture (new testament) yet people calls it the word of God. Only in the new testament that you will see lies contradicting itself, example; Matthew 1:16 and Luke 3:23 disagrees on the father of Joseph, husband to marry the father of Jesus that is the mentor and god of Christians, even his origin can't be traced. Only in the new testament that you will see a prophecy given by Jesus about his return that never came to pass (matthew 10:23, 16:28) yet people are been deceived to follow him and believe in such an inconsistent book.

(3) I don't have a problem with the multiple errors in the new testament, but I have a problem with its contents trying to link itself with the book of law (old testament). This are some of the lies; Matthew 27:9-10 says that Judas' payment was prophesied by Jeremiah, and then he quotes zechariah 11:12-13 as proof. Matthew 2:15 quoted the second half of Hosea 11:1, left the first half because the first half of the verse made it clear that the verse refers to God calling the Israelites out of Egypt, and this has nothing to do with Jesus. This is few of the multiple errors, and if you are a pastor yet you don't know of this, then you don't study your bible. If you are a committed Christian yet you don't see that there's something wrong with Christian scriptures then where is your commitment?

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is One and not in any three form. Christianity claims to have its root on the book of law (old testament) yet they can't quote "Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else". Deuteronomy 4:39. Christianity isn't different from paganism, it's even the worst because it is programed to deceive and mislead with lies. They may be good morals in the new testament teachings but that doesn't make it different from others that worships idols because those, also have good morals in there belief. #Practising jew

ZirdoRoray:

If God is glorified in
him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at
once.”
45. Horus was identified with the Tau (cross).

pray you see the light one day...

The only light I see is you suffer from mentacide -a suicidal African who prays to a god who looks nothing like him - a foreign god who watched while his people were murdered, and raped into submission.

if Jesus came as a final and perfect sacrifice for sin, and yet after his sacrifice, sin still is in abundance and relative to punishment, then he failed woefully
Now its clear you are an atheist. His death wasn't to stop the people of Now from sinning. It was to sit them from being damned by their sins.

Pls, if you do t believe in God, just go and play with your atheist friends.

seun why is it easy for Atheists and Muslims to access Christian threads and spill gibberish here? I don't see that on Islamic threads.

If you're not a Muslim, you can't enter their threads, why does anything go on christian threads?

answers please.
