- A Lagos pastor has been caught stealing laptops and personal effects.The pastor was arrested and several items were recovered from himPastor Ikemefuna AjeThis story was told by Facebook user Uju Patricia.According to the story, operatives of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos state police command, arrested a 47-year-old Pastor Ikemefuna Aje.Pastor Aje confessed to stealing during aseminar organised for internetbrand managers at a hotel in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.The nefarious deed was however givenaway as he was caught on CCTV committing the crime. He stole 5 MacBooks, one HP computer and some assorted personal effects, which he immediately took down to Computer Village in Lagos, and sold to one Saliu Ibraheem for N1, 110, 000.He has been friends with Ibraheem for about 7 years.However, due to the quick response of the policemen, PastorIkemefuna was traced to No 5 Tony Street, Ejigbo, Lagos where he was hosting about 34 other church membersin an house-fellowship.Ikemefuna stole those gadgets when theseminar's participants were having lunch in the hotel. After his arrest, he led the security operatives to his house, wherea car a 4Runner Toyota, a master key, Zinox laptop, several computer bags, computer and tablet accessories as well as seminar materials and a sum ofN700, 000, were recovered.The police asked how he got to know about the seminar which wasn't advertized on national dailies or in anymedia house, Ikemefuna disclosed that he had people who furnished him with information on conferences and seminars.He also revealed that the seminar was one of the many others where he had gate crashed.
