finch007: If your argument for not investing is that you'll get negative returns because of high inflation, and you may be partially right. My question to you is, what are the alternative investments that will yield above the 13% (risk free) that government bond is currently offering? You can put your money in the bank for a year or two, and it'll still loose it's purchasing power because of inflation. Hence, reason why cannot afford to park your money in the bank. I'm eagerly anticipating your thoughts sir, on alternative asset options. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Please, I need your advice. I contacted a stockbroking firm for the savings bond and I was told to open an account with them, then fill a cscs form. I did so and sent to them. Just yesterday they said I should go ahead pay the amount I intend to use for the savings bond into the firms account and I did so. I called to ask about my cscs account number today, and I was told they have not generated it but have submitted my bid form without a cscs number. They also said I wld not get a bond certificate, but the amount wld reflect in my cscs account. Please advice |
