Power Outage Residents Protest by Jcan: 1:26pm On Mar 13, 2017
Residents of Baptist water front in Borikiri axis of portharcourt has taken to the streets in order to protest lack of electricity supply in their community. According to one of the protesters who spoke in anonymity said that, "it was around 4am yesterday that PORTHARCOURT ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY came and disconnected their source of power from the transformer leaving them into total darkness."

The residents after contributing 2.4million naira to predict office in Aggrey Road in order for them to purchase new transformer, phenomenal now gave them a bill of 2.5million naira as the electricity bill consumed in one month.
