lynxnoon: No need. Samir na ethical hacker. The guy knows everything about WPA and WEP encription(pros and cons) and breaking into people's private network. So I won't be surprised if he's browsing thru a company's idle network. Cos really, thats the only way U can get speeds like that in naija unless the guy ain't in naija. |

thats not true. remember one guys screenshot was about 900kb and he said it was from swift broadband |

I get close to 900KB/s from SWIFT HOTSPOT (a wireless browsing center) located at various areas in Lagos and not from their broadband. Swift Hotspot is like a wireless cafe, you need to login to use it. The maximum one can get with their broadband is between 70 - 100 KB/s.

all these download speed screenshots being posted here make no sense to me. there is really no point having an internet connection that is unreliable. i have tried them all. Starcomms to me is the most reliable of the mobile operators when it comes to consistency and service delivery. |

@al una dey claim say swift no fit dey hacked ko. Come sokoto and c protected wireless networks wit 256bit of encryption, upon dat i dey use am dey browse wit download speeds reachn 410Kbps since no 3G for sokoto. C na just two softwares my dlink wireless card my desktop and PHCN finish. I dey com lag soon make i con hack d hel out of this swift of a hotspot. |
