@ extreme, nah thats lighthouse pup running KDE 3.5 desktop on my COBOL era laptop!!!

that laptop was my first ever, gotten in 2001, compaq armada p3, 192mb ram, 10gb drive 443mhz processor grin

i love the thing so much i refused to throw it away. i actually decided to wake it up just to prove a point to lynxnoon and to spend the free easter weekend.
i put that thing on the freeway and boy was i proud, that shizzle will compete with your pentium m on any speed test both hardware and internet grin

i think we should start a old hardware thread, for some of us who love the good old days, if u didnt see that laptop physically, u wouldnt know how old and archaic it is!!!! wonders of open source eh!!! grin

Datz a terrible system config!!! well kudos to u cant i cant use dat. ma 1st system was a P.4 intel 2.4 + 256mb ram, 80gb. but yet i saw it as slow n had to upgrade everytin!!! now i wonder how ur able to use a 10gb hdd wen windows alone can consume that 10gb.
