RM are officially the kings of offside goals in Europe...it would seem they now have all the linesmen on their payroll after scoring 3 offside goals within a week...bravo! well done guys.

you can't compare the two players!

messi is a team player...you see him everywhere in the field hustling for ball and connecting with midfield and defense, while penaldo waits for cheap passes to score offside goals. swap both players and see how useless penaldo is.

Messi doesn't need a trophy to win balon d'or, he has proven that. His individual performance alone wows all football legends across the globe.

And even if Ronaldo wins LA Liga, he won't still be recognized with that. Ramos has earned Madrid more points than Ronaldo this season, and Marcelo has been a better player than Ronaldo in the champions league. So forget it.

Ronaldo is the one that needs to score more than 50 goals before he can think of winning the balon d'or. And not just 50 goals, but added with trophies.

Meanwhile Messi now on 500 goals. I know you will say Ronaldo has more, but guess what? Messi game to goal ratio dust that of Ronaldo.

Devoid of the premier League and European sentiment, Messi is so obviously a far better player than Ronaldo. That is why you will never find any football legend confidently tell you Ronaldo is better. Even among the active footballers and coaches they sing his praise.

The first goal was pure class and confidence.
