It was once again a painful return journey to Stamford Bridge for Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho as his former team Chelsea beat his present one 1-0 to end their FA Cup defence.

This time around however it was a bit better off judging by the scoreline. The Manchester United Manager’s first return to the Blues after his December 2015 sacking ended in a humiliating 4-0 bashing and United ultimately fared little better in this quarter-final capitulation, secured by N’Golo Kante’s stunning strike.

The visitors were expected to play a very defensive game due to the fact that many of their strikers could not make the game for one reason or the other. Marcus Rashford was however able to defy illness to start the game as Mourinho changed his system to match that which Antonio Conte has dominated the Premier League with.
