Job Title: Accounting Officer
Job Description

Responsibilities:

Help ensure each department generates the maximum contribution to the company by keeping constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost.
Handling customers invoices, tracking and monitoring account receivables
As our Accountant, you will prepare, compute, manage, research and analyse all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position and cash flows of our business.
Manage all accounting operations based on sound accounting principles
Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Establish and maintain internal controls policies and procedures
Liaise with regulatory authorities at all levels (Local, State and Federal) and Auditors
Maintaining correct and proper records of the company, ensuring they are always up to date
Inventory Management and Control – Ensuring that assets of the company (cash, stock, fixed assets, any other materials) are always monitored and taken care of
Manage all Cash, Payments, Receivables etc and ensure that fraud in any form doesn’t thrive.
Provide Business Intelligence for the company using these data.
Accountant is to ensure all purchases, sales, production, bank, cash and any other company transactions are registered using their various forms every day and these transactions should be entered into their various registers and filled accordingly
Accountant is to ensure all company transactions are entered into the Accounting Software
Back up of the Accounting software must be done every day at Close of Business and kept in the designated drive.
Complete back up of the system should be done at the end of every week.
Accountant is to ensure all the cash needs of the company are met at every point in time.
Track all cheques to ensure accounts are duly funded
Prepare weekly and monthly budgets based on fund needs to ensure there is enough funds to fund operations
Always keep track of all Payables, Receivables and Loans and update the management using a centrally managed excel sheet
Complete projects, tasks and deliverables as at when due and within the stipulated timeline
Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Confirms financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current and proposed legislation; enforcing accounting regulations; recommending new procedures.
Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts.
Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs

Minimum of 3 years work experience as an accountant.
With chartered accountant certification or in-view
Age 25-35 old as at time of application

Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Job Description
