Actor, producer, Ali Nuhu, referred to in the media as the "King of Kannywood", "Sarki Ali" or "King Ali", marks his 42nd birthday today. Born on the 15th of March, 1974 in Maiduguri, Ali is arguably the foremost Kannywood actor. He has also been able to cut across regional divide and not only gain recognition in the Nigerian movie industry but also on the international scene. Aside from acting Ali is the co-chairman of the motion picture production company FKD.
