Fallopian tube is one of the internal gentinals of women. As the place where sperm and ovum binding with each other and the place where the fertilized ovum grows into maturity before it enter the uterus, the importance of fallopian tube is obvious for everyone to see. Therefore, the lesion of fallopian tube can affect the reproductive ability of women and even lead to female infertility. Among the diseases related with fallopian tube, fallopian tube blockage is both very common and very serious.

As we can guess from the literal meaning of this term, fallopian tube blockage refers to the blockage or obstruction of fallopian tube. In majority cases of fallopian tube blockage happens as a kind of complication of other gynecological inflammatory diseases, especially pelvic inflammatory diseases(PID). Other causes of fallopian tube blockage include postoperative infection and fallopian tube adhesion after gynecological operations such as artificial abortion operation, cesarean operation and so on, infection after appendicitis perforation, influenza, bacterial infection caused by unhealthy sexual life.

And among the patients suffering from female infertility, about 25% to 35% of the problem is caused by fallopian tube blockage.

In general, fallopian tube blockage does not have obvious and special symptoms. If fallopian tube blockage is caused by PID, there can be symptoms of pain in the lower abdominal region, soreness in the waist, increase of secreta, and pain during sexual life.

The treatment of fallopian tube blockage can be classified into western medicine treatment and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment in general. And in western medicine, the treatment of fallopian tube blockage can be further divided into surgery treatment and medicinal treatment. Surgery treatment methods include the resection operation of the focus or the whole fallopian tube. But this will damage or destroy the function of fallopain tube and affect the reproductive ability of women, which could not be accepted by most of patients. Only when there is no other choice will they choose this treatment method. The medicinal treatment of fallopian tube blockage is usually the application of antibiotics. But the overuse of antibiotics has disadvantages such as drug resistance. How to open fallopian tubes naturally? Compared with western medicine treatment, TCM treatment of fallopian tube blockage is more safe and effective. With the use of natural herbal medicines with the function of clearing away heat and detoxication, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, regulating qi-flowing for activating stagnation and so on, fallopian tube blockage can be cured. Fuyan pill is a TCM prescription well equipped with these functions. So it can be applied in the treatment of fallopian tube blockage.
