Experienced Research Assistant required

We run a medical NGO founded to assist in the prevention and alleviation of human suffering, through community efforts on education, disease prevention and health promotion. We advocate and ensure respect for various cultural, traditional and religious beliefs, as well as maintain human dignity for those we serve.

We are looking for an intelligent research person who is energetic and excited about getting results and meeting targets. The successful applicant will be working in and around Lagos, from home and at various locations in Lagos.

Job details

1.      Create research plan and budget

2.      Outline places, areas, time, and expenses involved in carrying out a particular research.

3.      Identify challenges and suggest ways to tackle them beforehand to avoid hindrances

4.      Identify relevant potential participants, educate them on research procedures and possible dangers to get them psychologically ready for the project and to enable them make informed decisions about their participation

5.      Supervise research activities and provide support to team members by sending them reminders of vital information, facilitating communications between members of the team to ensure uniformity in execution of procedures

 Skills

·         Being confident individual. 
·         Excellent spoken and written English language
·         Having special attention for details. 
·         Organized and gives attention to details
·         Being intuitive. 
·         Being able to work with a team or individually. 
·         Cultural aware of various Nigerian cultures
·         Ability to speak more than one Nigerian language will be an advantage


Qualifications

We are looking for graduate or graduate caliber person with good grades.
