The year 2 students of the department of accounting in university of portharcourt have poured out there grief of how lecturers treats them.the lecturers handling the 1.business statistics and 2.marketing courses for the year 2 students of accout dept has cancelled the continuous assessment taken by the students because some of them don't have the text book.and rescheduled the test for students with the text book alone to write..considering the economic situation,no one should be forced to buy text books after struggling so hard to pay the high fees(that isn't suppose to be so in a federal university).that is unlawful and wrong.the authorities should look into lecturer's of both courses.

This goes on in my school and we the students see it as normal things.

No lecturer was named or evidence giving, can the op elaborate more? There is an ethics committee where such matter can be reported. There is also an ICPC office in basic studies building where such reports are received and investigated. Quality assurance dept backed by servicom has a focal officer in every faculty.

Kindly do the needful with strong evidence.
