According to the CIA WORLD FACTBOOK,the Nigerian Airforce is the predonderate Air power in West Africa and one of the largest on the continent. It has 16,000 personnel and a myriad of aerial platforms not seen in most 3rd world air forces.

The past two years was a busy and revolutionary one for the Nigerian Air Force. From combating Boko Haram in the North East, carrying out operations in the Niger Delta in the South, and projecting power by deploying forces to the Gambia, the Nigerian Air Force has become the most capable and sophisticated in the sub region. Between 2015/16 alone, The Air Force has flown over sorties, the largest ever by a Sub Saharan African country.

In order to highlight the amazing successes recorded by the Nigerian Airforce over the past two years, I have complied operational images of the Nigerian Airforce .

Peace is now extremely costly in today's world.

Any investment in military hardware isn't a waste. Some years ago, suicide bombing and terrorism is completely alien to Nigeria until one Shekau sprang the surprise.

With the likes of shekau. still around, Nigeria just have to invest more on military hardwares

I will luv a situation whereby all our military equipments will be made in Nigeria so that we don't encounter the kind of embarrassment south Africa gave to us in the past during the regime of Gej and also to stop the intimidation of countries that always frustrates Nigerian government in terms of military acquisition
But I also pray our military will stop all this human right abuse and focus their energy on fighting terrorism and not on unarmed civilians

You're talking to a robot programmed to understand only the commands he was given during production / manufacturing. If the programmers do not recaliberate and reprogram it to accommodate your info, it won't sink.

I think our Naf is the best in Africa if not in the whole world, With the capacity to strafe and obliterate an IDP in lest than 30 seconds & beat hapless civilians to stupor. No airforce have been able to equal this record.

All the Aircraft currently in our Airforce were procured by only two govts , The Shagari govt and the Jonathan Govt...This is indisputable fact ... as military head of state Buhari didnt purchase a single Airforce platform and as civilian he hasnt still even though there is noise about the purchase of the Pakistani turbo prop Super Mushshak

You still don't understand that it's an indictment on the Jonathan govt.

If Nigeria had as much jets, why was boko haram left to fester up till the point where over 200 school girls were kidnapped without any resistance and our soldiers were making tactical retreat across our border into Cameroon?
