This should be a concern to everybody! Nigeria institutions especially the big-name universities have this attitude of omission without ratifying.
On graduation! It happens to most students . People are omitted due to several reasons ranging from delays by course advisers, project supervisors,may be having a 1st semester course to write etc.
So in these cases, the person's name may not come out in the mainstream list of publication and it does not mean in any way that the said student did not finish all and meet up with all requirements to graduate! Graduating or convocation list usually have omissions based on the things listed above and many more. So to actually investigate if someone finished from a particular institution, go straight to the exams and records office and not the alumni office! I believe this might be the case of senator Dino
I know a lot of people with similar issue and today lots of them got their transcripts and v finished their masters abroad or some other schools.
It's institutional problem and if any one has to be blamed it shouldn't be the students or the said graduates! A student cannot do the work of a student and that of the school staffs same time but in our public institutions, it's a norm for them to be careless and blame the students! After all na government work! The will say
