Since the inception of Yahaya Bello administration which took off on 27 Jan 2016 , inhabitants of kogi state have continuously wallow in enormous turmoil the state government is conspicuously making them go through.

A screening comitte was set up a year ago to check the excesses of the civil servants and up till now they are still screening them, countless people have lost their lives in the duration of the screening, some were even kidnapped.

Hunger abounds in the landscape of kogi as most civil servant are yet to be paid for a year and two months currently. The educational sector has been almost shut down as Kogi state University and Kogi State Polythecnic are currently on strike meanwhile N.U.T is also threatening to go on strike. No single infrastructure or development plan.

Not for once has there been an administration this insensitive to the plight of the masses not even the previous administration, the masses and indigenes of kogi state are tired
