The Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Teranga Lions of Senegal will renew their hostilities on Thursday night when both sides meet in an International friendly slated for the Hive Stadium, which is the home of English side Barnet FC.

The two teams come into this mammoth game in relatively good form though the Senegalese have been quite bullish about their chances of ending their winless run against Nigeria dating back to the semi-final stage at the 2002 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Nigeria have maintained a hundred percent record since the appointment of Franco-German manager Gernot Rohr including impressive wins against Zambia and Algeria in the group stage of their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers while Senegal on the other hand were unbeaten at the 2017 edition of AFCON last month though they bowed out of the tournament at the quarter-final stage after losing to eventual champions Cameroon on penalties.
