You are right Seun. Currently in our environment not all maize are yellowish and not all yellow maize are Vitamin A fortified. This maize seedling has been genetically fortified with Vitamin A hereby improving its nutritional quality. and you will agree with me that corn comes in a variety of colors, including white, yellow and bright orange. Varieties with deeper colors often have higher levels of beta-carotene, a precursor to vitamin A.
