The Camon C8 has a 5.5inch screen
which is quite big. Its a Phablet. At a
first glance , we were really impressed
with the design. Tecno did a lot of work
there. The phone comes with a touch of
both metal and leather finishing. The
body is finished with metal , while the
back cover is a misture of plastic and
leather. Quite impresive.
The C8 comes with a removeable back
cover , although the 3000mAh battery is
non-removeable. The Sim and Memory
Card slots are inside the phone , while
the power and volume buttons can be
found on the right hand side of the
body.
The interesting thing about Camon C8
is the incredibly light weight. Despite
the fact that it comes with a 3000mAh
battery , Camon C8 still manages to
keep a beautiful design that is light
weight and appealing. Really
Impressive.
Internal Processor And Performance
The Camon C8 uses a 64Bit 1.3GHz
quad-core MediaTek processor and 1GB
RAM to process Information. The
performance is quite low. Often times ,
we’ve experience serious lag whenever
gaming or browsing the internet. Apps
refreshes too quickly because the RAM
is too low (1GB). Tecno should have
used a 2GB RAM Instead.
For Storage , Camon C8 Uses a 16GB
internal Memory. It also has an
External Memory Slot of up to 32GB ,
Just incase you need more space.
The C8 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
OS with Tecno’s Customised Interface.
The UI is quite beautiful and you’ld
definately love it. Take a look :
Camera
The camera is the strongest point of this
smartphone. It comes with 13MP back
camera with Dual Flash (2 flash light).
The picture quality is amazing! , we
loved it. At the front , you get 5MP
camera with single flash. The camera is
perfect for video and selfie lovers. Try
it out.
Battery
The Camon c8 comes with a 3000mAh
battery. The battery lasted for about
8hours of heavy useage. However , it
takes too much time to charge. It can
take more than 3hours to charge from
0% -100. Really Poor.
Boom Player
The Boom Player is Tecno’s customised
music streaming app. With Boom Player
, you can stream the latest musics and
videos ; all in one spot.
