Job Overview:

The Accounts assistants would provide administrative support to the accountants, undertaking clerical tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail and basic bookkeeping. Also, The Accounts assistants would work directly for the accountants, help to maintain the office and keep it running smoothly. As well as dealing with customers and external agencies.

Job Responsibilities:
•Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.
•Managing petty cash transactions.
•Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
•Preparing statutory accounts.
•Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
•Controlling credit and chasing debt.
•Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
•Key data into company accounting system
•Review employee expenses and make reimbursements

Skills and Qualifications:
•Experience with bookkeeping practices,
•Knowledge of accounting terminology,
•Understanding of filing systems,
•Administrative skills,
•Attention to detail,
•Minimum of 2 – 3 years work experience in accounting,
•Minimum of BSc in Accounting or related field.
