This seems to be a season of anomaly as there are increasing reports of suicide acts. The economy, no doubt, has contributed a lot to this. Whatever could be the reason, is suicide really the option to take? The following factors should seriously be considered before taking one' s own life. 1. The problem can be overcome. Whatever is the problem and no matter how big it looks, it can be overcome. It may take some time, energy, efforts or perseverance, but it definately can be overcome. 2. You are not alone. You are not the only one with challenges. All other people have challenges which they too are contending with. Therefore, you are not alone., try to face your challenges. Those problems are challenges. 3. Share it. There is this saying that a problem shared is a problem half solved. Do not bottle the problem, share the burden with people around you. You will be surprised somebody may offer a good solution. 4. For those who believe, God is alive and still does wonders. Prayerfully take the problems to Him and you will be amazed at how He will intervene. 5 Be considerate. You have family members who look, probably, up to you. Your death will will do more harm to then than any good. Remember, tough time does not last, tough people do.
