A Great Reason To Update Your iPhone: This Hack Breaks iOS Security With Just A Wi-Fi Connection

As part of the presentation held in Black Hat Asia in a hacking conference this week, the major blurb is for iPhone users to be on the alert. It states that "The victim will only have to join the Wi-Fi network, and then the device will be compromised without any user interaction, bypassing all iOS mitigations and sandboxes."

Here is the flaw: Marco Grassi, from the famous Keen Lab hacker crew employed by Chinese tech giant Tencent, devised the hack, though declined to talk to media this week about his research. According to the blurb, Grassi's technique was able to hack an iOS device remotely via Wi-Fi "without any user interaction, completely bypassing the iOS sandbox.".........
