Sagay suppose to be learnered but unfortunately he acts to the contrary. His choice of derogatory languages against nigeria's respected Senate baffles one. A lawyer calling senate members irresponsible and childish speaks much of his own character and upbringing. He should be aware of seperation of powers and no one arm can intimedate the
other. Sagay should remind us where in the constitution or efcc Act where there is provision for Acting capacity. Sagay should equally know that Buhari cannot appoint alone whom the constitution says subject to confirmation by the senate. I think rather belittle himsef by the use of barbaric words on the senate he should advice the president appropriately. Otherwise Sagay remains a major conflic fueller between the executive and the senate

Sagay has gone past his sell-by date...it's unfortunate that he's still left on the shelf to abuse the sensitivity of sane and decent humans who bear the Nigerian appellation. For God's sake he's officially older than the President so what more is expected?

who are the decent humans Dino Melaye, adamu aliro, abdulahi adamu, stella odua, sam egwu, ta orji , you or saraki? to decent humans we know that MAGU is not perfect, but we also know that he is doing his job and the plot to remove him is simply because 90% of the Nigerian senate is made up of ex governors, ex deputy governors, ex ministers and generally is a conglomerate of corrupt people...... so its only normal that they don't want him,

I don't know about you but I can vouch for myself and family and millions like us that we are decent people and in the majority.
The impasse between the Executive and d NASS as regards Magu's appointment and confirmation is the fault of the Executive. I say so because the head of the Executive ie the President rode into power on the backs of some of these ex Governors, Ministers and career Senators who occupy the Senate. They jointly funded his campaign and packaged him so he knew a good number of them were powerful thieves. So why would he appoint his chief corruption fighter and expose him to these powerful persons who will protect their loot at all costs? Which thief wants to relinquish his stolen goods? He exposed Magu by not having him sent to the Senate for confirmation immediately after nominating him so that he wouldn't have played his hands in the course of doing his job. What was the need for the delay in the first place? Eight months in acting capacity? Why?

The same Executive facilitated the non-confirmation of Magu by authoring the indicting report that was sent you the Senate. Should the Senate have disregarded that report under any circumstances that is whether facing any corruption investigation or not? Mr President failed in his usual lazy manner, same way he messed up ministerial appointments and that of the CJN by unjustifiable and unnecessary delays!

Rather than grind governance to a halt by unnecessary posturing and futile dick comparing contests, he should follow the intent and spirit of the Constitution/law, nominate a new person and let the Senate screen and confirm immediately! He has power to appoint in acting capacity but such appointee cannot remain in acting capacity ad infinitum!
