Ty_Fregz who is also a Doctor, disclosed that the prize money came from the Pediatrics Association of Nigeria. Here are his tweets;

you didn't get me, there is a difference between education and 4.5gpa. if you graduate with a 4.5gpa, it won't give the Sku a dime, if a lady dance unclad, ppl will pay to see her unclothedness, thereby generating cash, the average nigerian doesn't value education as the white does.
