Hmmmmm!!! I went with a friend to buy Samsung A20. So I started flirting my A5 pro and the phone seller too was showing off his phone. So he began to admire mine and politely asked to have a feel. So I dengenly gave him. He pulled up the pouch and he screamed wow!!!! Umidigi A5 pro. I said yes that's my baby.
So I asked for his red pouch phone, he gave me and told me it's Redmi note 7.
I quickly dashed to the camera and I tried to compare the both camera. Hmmmmm!!! I was like is this the almighty Redmi note 7 they won't let us hear word?
No wonder Redmi users always looking for Gcam.
Make una see.... eh... Redmi note 7 cameras are just like every normal camera. Don't know about their GCAM anyways.

Hyping what? Try lay your hands on Umidigi A5 pro and compare with your rn7 camera if at all you even own one, then come back and tell me if I am hyping A5 pro or not.

You are right in your observation that the Redmi note 7 stock camera is not great. The selfie camera is ok and the rear camera is good.
A5 pro is not a competition. The use of GCAM by Redmi users is not because the camera is horrendous as gcam is used even by flagship phones. They have Gcam ports for flagship and this is used by people. That is to correct the wrong notion you have.

The Redmi note 7 Gcam is better than most mid-range phones that applies can run the Gcam for its price range. The Gcam is only a software that amplifies the hardware the Redmi note 7 stock camera comes with. what I am saying is that most mid-range phones will not be able to turn out such output even if Gcam is used. The Gcam only used the 8mp of the Redmi note 7.

Just updated Madam's A5 pro and the following are my observations, the camera has improved but the volume don worse pass before, the volume is now lower than before. She don take curse scatter my head say why I touch her phone. Pls help

Seems A20 will be a little bigger because it is 6.4" while A5 Pro is 6.3" & the A10 I used is 6.2"
