I've got this umidigi a13s, the battery got swollen a bit and later the screen stopped responding to touches... Till date, phone is working fine but the screen won't touch but it's on, time messages, missed calls all function except that the screen won't touch... What can I do to make it work ?? Please help |

LeeMason:If you visit any thread devoted to a particular brand you will find similar issues. Umidigi seems pronounced because they lack the after-sale services the popular brands have in the country, so hunting for replacements is difficult for people outside the commercial center of Lagos. I am using my second Umidigi phone, both served me over two and a half years without issues, maybe I'm careful or lucky. |

Greatdesi: The problem is in the battery – if am not mistaken, they call it "diode" – ,and there's a video out there that shows how to get it fixed. Just last Sunday, I got my A11 promax back to normalcy when facing similar issue. When the problem first started some months ago, the phone would shut down automatically and then restart whenever there's power outage or the charger lose connection with power. But that Sunday, it just shut down as usual and hung up on the boot logo, not booting up. That's when I took it to an Engineer and now everything is normal as it should be. The battery even lasts longer now than before. |
