Android and Lag, are very close friends joined at the hip. Better to have more and not required, than require and not have.....

Less than 3 GB of ram. I do not do anything amazing with phones.
Just the usual functions. If it looks good, and has all basic specifications, it's a good device in my books........

obviously, that Mi 6 might be water proof or really slim for the OEM to have abandoned headphone jack. It might potentially turn off buyers too

He he he. They aren't comparable, unless u wanna invest a fortune on high quality headphone. But, am hoping mi 6 will come with Bluetooth 5.0 and we will see how capable that can be comparable to wired connection. It's gonna be a big boost in any case dou, not just sure xiaomi will go with v5. 0 yet

They are some very good bluetooth headphones out now. They really proof that, you don't always require wired connection, to enjoy your music.
I personally use the bluedio vinyl (Bluetooth headphones) + Monster Precision 100 (Bluetooth speakers).
Both Bluetooth devices are bass happy, mid range happy and treble happy (infact the sound output is very very good).... ... .

Not everyone will wanna spend over 100 usd on a headphone.

My point is, the good ones are expensive. And don't blame em, is the technology

Ok, so it's not that the sound output is not comparable, but the cost of the substitute?

What would happen eventually when 3.5 jacks are removed from all good smartphones?

USB type C with CDLA and Bluetooth 5.0 and up.

About comparable, most of the cheap Bluetooth earpiece are not close at all to those of wired, dolls for dolls. Audiophile prefer wired by far. It's brands like bluedio bringing earpiece at good prices. Let me not mention bose or beat prices

Why would I buy Bose, when bluedio or monster are more pocket friendly?
Horses for courses, regardless of the buyers price points. Thankfully devices are available for all.
Would I use wired earphones again? NO

Why would I buy an expensive and overpriced Bluetooth headphones, at the expense of my hearing?
Their are limitations to how high or thumping, the listener wants to hear his bass, before booking an appointment for hearing aids fitting... .... ... ..

Lucky with my umidigi ke? Mine too also died after only 20 minutes of life, sent it back awaiting refund.
I then bought the umidigi Note C, awaiting delivery....
If the umidigi Note C is also a failure, I send it back and wait for OP5 to launch.....

Nope.
Thought that was the only issue but now it's developed another: sometimes the volume buttons do not respond and it reboots intermittently.

Already spoke to the seller about a refund but he says I have to return the phone and send a tracking number.

That's the only way to get a refund. I also had to send tracking number, to facilitate the refund process.....

It's more than the RAM for me. gotta be 2k display, SD 835 SoC, 5.5" display and promise of software update

The OnePlus 5 should pack a 5.5-inch display with 2K resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, 23-megapixel dual-lens camera with optical image stabilization and optical zoom, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

Your prayers might just have been answered....... Above are part of the spec's for OnePlus A5000 aka OP5 .......

The new addition to the Oneplus 3T model is the midnight edition and it only ships with 128. Possibly a sign for OP5....
