1. Oldest Condom (370 years old)

This oldest contraceptive item is made from sheepskin. It was used in 1640 in Sweden. This was a reusable condom and it was recommended to wash this condom with warm milk to help the user avoid catching STD.

2. Oldest bra (500 years old)

This oldest bra was worn by someone in around 1390-1485. However, it was not called as bra earlier. According to the historical descriptions, they were known as ‘Breast Bags’.

3. Oldest pair of Sunglasses (800 years old)
This oldest pair of sunglasses were found on Baffin Island in Canada. They were used as snow goggles and were meant to reduce sun’s glare.

4. The oldest chewing gum (5000 years old)

This oldest chewing gun consisting of birch mark is at least 5000 years old. It is from Finland and was used to resolve mouth infections.

5. The oldest shoe (5500 years old)
This right cowhide moccasin shoe was found in Armenia. it is almost 5500 years old. However the left shoe was never found.

6. The world's oldest book (estimated age; 2673 years old)
thought to be the oldest multi-page book in the world, dating to about 660 BC, the Etruscan Gold Book was discovered 70 years ago whilst digging a canal off the Strouma river in Bulgaria.
The book is made from 6 sheets of 24 carat gold, bound together with rings.
The plates are written in Etruscan characters, and also depicted is a horse, horseman, a Siren, a lyre, and soldiers.
The book was donated to Bulgaria’s National History Museum in Sofia, by an anonymous 87 year old donor.
Etruscans were an ancient race of people that migrated from Lydia – in now what would be modern Turkey – settling in central Italy nearly 3 thousand years ago.
