 The housemates who were last week nominated for eviction from the Big Brother Naija reality show – TBoss, Bally, Marvis and Debie-Rise – received a cumulative eleven million votes. This was made known by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during Sunday’s live eviction show. According to Ebuka; “ The housemates got a total of 11 million votes this week alone”. To vote for a Big Brother housemate costs N100 per attempt. Eleven million votes at N100 each amounts to N1.1bn. Although millions of Africans across the continent tune into the show on a daily basis, only Nigerians are allowed to vote.
