According to the Public Service Rules (corrected version) 2008 been used by the state, in section 4 article 020402(b)I) said Nigerians may be appointed on contract term if: 1- Above 50 years
2- if they request to be employed on contract term
l will stick to this 2 for now. guess what, if u are not a katsina person and u are employed by the state govt, sorry u are not a Nigerian for u will b given a contract appointment n be subjected to numerous discrimination n oppression. just to note many of the contract staff in Education Ministry were recruited in their various states to Katsina to teach with promise to permanent them after some time, they are still waiting over 10years now. please let us help the less than 500 contract staff of katsina state govt who are Nigerians get permanent convention, by making their voice heard.
