History

There are just few inventions that have had influence more than television in this world. This invention has been the work of many inventors in the late 19 centuries. While for some the purpose is to make some profits and expand their business capacity, It is, for others, to develop the world. However, irrespective of those reasons or any other unmentioned motive, television has received a tremendous contribution over the years.

Types of Television

Mechanical Television

Facsimile television was one of the earlier mechanical television invented by a Scottish Alexandra Bain between 1843 and 1846. this was following by laboratory demonstration by an English scientist Frederick Bakewell in 1851.

The first person to develop a facsimile system working on a telegraph line was an Italian priest whose name was Giovanni Caselli in 1851
.

Electronic Television

The demonstration of the first electronic television was first recorded in san Fransisco on September 7, 1927.the system was designed by a 21 year- old inventor, Philo Taylor Farnsworth. Farnsworth never lived in a house with electricity until he was 14years. He conceived the system that could capture moving images in such a way that could be coded into radio waves and then transformed simultaneously back into a picture on the screen. Farnsworth is regarded as the direct ancestor of modern television for his invention which scanned images with a beam of electrons, although Boris Rosing in Russia had earlier conducted some experiments in transmitting images 16 years before Farnsworth’s success.
