Sorry this is coming late.

Actually, both of us are in the same shoes.

I also chose law last year with the hope that we'd battle it out in the post utme, but we all know what eventually happened.

So, this year, just like you, I also chose history.

And just like you did, I also did research about the Double Hons stuff (combining History with Political Science). Then I found out that, even though it's on UI's site that a student can combine the two courses, it is not being done in reality.

So, this is my own long-term aim (you might want to imitate me)

After the four-year History course, I intend going for a Masters in International Relations (you might chose to go for a Masters in Political Science or any other related thing that catch your fancy)

So, make sure you don't hate History. From my findings, it appears the course will be an interesting one in UI. Try to begin loving the course from now so you won't have much issues with it when you are eventually admitted
