After a semester come on now, that's not possible. For other reasons outside academics, say, cultism and the likes, sure they can but for poor results? I refuse to believe that they'll rusticate anybody before the end of the session, I stand to be corrected though.

Nope,they don't need to write jamb, and they're very different from direct entry students.

Traditionally 10% of the quota is usually for Direct entry.
UIs quota is 180, so they can admit about 18 students for DE
Dentistry quota is 30. Last year, 30 students were admitted; 27 from UTME, 3 from DE.
