I was surprised last yr ..when I went to ui and meet some of mech engr engr final yr student....if u see their projects...fridge, vaccume cleaning machine,paper shedding machine and so on...I then ,showed them the hard copy of my project ( Tricycle)...they were amazed!

everyone just overhyped thier schools academics!

go check out what's happening at poly...u will read and spent much money on projects everytime,just as if u r doing masters

i slightly agree with u engrbello.
Its just the 9ja system that makes HND inferior to BSc.
Poly students offer more courses in a semester than Univ. Students. Their grading is even different.. I av an uncle that did mech engr at poly-ilaro.. D grading is in A, AB, BC, CD and so on not the regular ABCDEF in universities. And they have more practical courses. Especially the engineering and environmental folks.
It will take a student 5 years to get a HND frm a polytechnic. 2yrs for ND, 1yr for compulsory IT and 2years for HND.

Honestly, 9ja educational system is not encouraging..

so, i'll say u av a chance...since botany cutoff doesnt rise above 50 most times.
