Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday evening in the Spanish capital, reports Football Espana.

The 25-year-old had his €70,000 watch stolen by the thief, who made off on a motorbike in a car park in the popular area of Chamberi.

The Spain international was presumably followed into the car park by the man on the motorbike and was threatened by him with a gun close to his head when he wound down his window to get a parking ticket.

Reports say the attacker shouted 'give me the watch' whilst threatening with the gun before making off on the motorbike at high speed.

The police is now studying CCTV footage of the incident, which was immediately reported by the footballer.

Koke trained with his teammates as normal on Friday.
