Refurbished just means that they were previously used and were returned to the manufacturer,either cos there was an issue or they wanted an upgrade, the manufacturer then get's their technicians to bring the phone back to full functionality, for the most part they are mostly phones sent to the manufacturer or phone carriers because of an upgrade.

yes, if casings are damaged, they are professionally changed. a pre-owned beats pill goes for around $60+ which is right around 25k.
