a friend sent me this



recently I noticed my airtime is being deducted for services i never subscribed to. 2days back i made a complain about an illegal deduction of 50naira, I contacted their customer care and they said they'll rectify in 24-48 hours only for them to deduct another 50 naira barely 48 hours later

you can say its small money

but 100 naira in 2 days from atleast 1m customers that's a whopping 100million


this is day light robbery and the customer care service does nothing about it.


so now i need advice coz honestly im pissed and I'll likely involve a lawyer



i emailed n tweeted at EFCC , NCC and CPC yet no response


so if those assigned to protect consumer intrests dont give a hoot

whats the hope of the common man?

i got more pissed coz if i was in the middle of no where n that was the last airtime i had does that mean ill be stranded ?

nb- its a new sim so borrowing isn't an Option

actually he used some borrow data service on glo I think


n he was given airtime instead of the data

now they still deducted from the given credit for something he didn't subscribe to ...after customer care said he should leave the credit in the sim for the issue to be rectified


only for him to tell me they ended up taking the entire credit n leaving him in 90naira debt
