Have you seen the movies? I'm looking for anybody that is currently on the season 3... The same sibyl system that was executing innocent people anyhow is now been portrayed as the good guy? I'm not understanding this season 3 at all.

I've not seen any of the movies yet. I'll probably watch them together with the season3 when it's finished airing.
There has to be some sort of explanation/twist concerning the Sibyl system because Sibyl system, despite having played a major role in defeating baddies in the series has always been portrayed to be imperfect and riddled with flaws and loopholes. Except the writers changed it which will be pretty dumb, imo...

Watched season one and two. The only reason I'm yet to start season 3 is that Shinya Kogami isn't there. I'll still watch it anyway.

The system was never good, bad or even perfect.
It sentences or executes people whether they commit a crime or not, on one hand and on the other hand it gave people a peaceful crimefree life.
Writer of season 1 was Gen Urobuchi and a different person wrote season 2, I don't know whether the original writers are the ones doing s3.
I'm watching s3 to see why Akane Tsunemori is locked up.

Yeah, saw sth like that.. imo, he shouldn't have been removed from the main cast... He's one the most interesting character in the series.

Finally watched the kind Kimetsu no yaiba and all I can say is, that anime is way too overhyped

The anime looked good and had a good animation and soundtracks, but I just felt was an ordinary shounen, nothing special.
I just didn't vibe with it.
