YouTube changed the way we view videos since 2005. It's the go-to site for anything you want to watch - from senseless shorts to films (Hollywood, Bollywood, Lollywood, Mollywood, Pollywood) or anything else you can think of. You may think you know all the good stuff to search, playlists to fire up your day or must-watch channels. But what about keyboard shortcuts?
Here are some shortcuts that will help you cut time when your mouse/clickpad bogs down. Disclaimer: these are the standard shortcuts; it might not work on all browsers, it may vary on a Mac.

Play/Pause video:
K, space bar or click. Probably the most used shortcut, especially the latter. K works even if your click isn't focused on the video; if it isn't, pressing the space bar will scroll down the entire window.

Go to/Focus on search bar:
Press/(slash). Press Esc to leave it.

Focus on video:
Click the lower part of the video, below the progress bar. Clicking above the progress bar will, as mentioned earlier.play / pause the video.

<Full screen: For double-click To exit, simply press Esc. And don't bother looking for a shortcut to Theatre Mode, because there isn't one.

Increase/Decrease volume:
Arrow Up and Arrow Down, respectively. Done in intervals of 5%, and your focus should be on the video. If not, watch the whole window dance up and down.
