A 41-year-old man Joi (not his real name) has been arrested in Phatthalung, Thailand for slitting the throat of his 13-year-old daughter over the amount of time she spent on Facebook and other social media platform. Joi told police he attacked the girl out of rage after they argued about her spending too much time on Facebook and Line. His wife, 44, corroborated that version of events. She said her husband did not like the girl spending a lot of time on social media for fear it would impact negatively on her school work. I'm speechless. He doesn't want the girl negatively influenced by social media, yet his character and attitude is nothing to write home about. Doesn't he know kids learn first from those around them? 1 Like |
