Borussia Dortmund's Champions League quarter-final with Monaco was postponed after the Dortmund team bus was damaged by an explosion and Dortmund have confirmed defender Marc Bartra has undergone wrist surgery after he was injured in an explosion on Tuesday.

Dortmund players were left stunned after Marc Bartra was taken to hospital taking after a blast that hit the team's bus, the club's executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said.

Bartra was the only individual affected by the incident, which occurred as the coach left the team hotel ahead of Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final game against Monaco. The match was, therefore, called off until Wednesday and Watzke assembled for Dortmund to pull in the wake of the blast.
