Jeremy Corbyn comes across as a refined gentleman, I wonder why the british electorate (and even members of his own party) seem to dislike him

The members of the Labour party do NOT dislike Jeremy, the reverse is the case actually. He has already won 2 Labour leadership elections, the members (myself included) love Jeremy. It's the dodgy 'Blairrites' who call themselves labour party members that dislike Jeremy, we would soon flush out all the blairrites from the new Labour movement. Jeremy is taking the Labour party back to its core values of socialism and wealth distribution, this is what the elite don't like.

I remain a hardcore Jeremy supporter regardless of the outcome of the elections on June 8th. Some of us are more interested in the core values of the Labour party, rather than the mad lure of being in power.

True.

Labour are going to lose a lot of seats and this will be their worst performance in any general election.

The plus side however is that Jeremy Corbyn will have no choice but to resign leaving room for a formidable leader to take over the party and rebuild the party. Many people will breathe a sigh of relief once he's gone.

Jeremy Corbyn is the worst thing that has happened to the Labour Party. I can't wait to see the back of him.

My biggest worry is SNP. I really do not want them to lose any seats in Scotland. I hope they retain all 57 seats (maybe even win the other 2 seats). The SNP is the best opposition political party in the UK. No jokes grin They are forever fighting for the best interests of we Scots cool cheesy

Also, Mrs May wants to use the snap election to force a vote of no confidence in the SNP leader (Ms Sturgeon), who want to set up another Scottish referendum in 2 years time. If the popularity of the Tories can help in getting more seats from the 57 seats held by SNP, then it will be a fantastic snap election for the Tory party.

The Tories will struggle to win a single seat in Scotland. The LibDems actually stand a better chance in Scotland than the Tories.

Do not believe the all the negative press in England against Ms Sturgeon. We the Scots love the SNP and our leader Nicola Sturgeon grin

As long as the SNP remain in power, we are guaranteed free tuition, free NHS prescriptions, free NHS dental/eye checks. . . . grin grin grin Hell no way the Scots are going to give that all up and allow the Tories snatch 'our benefits' from us.

Yes, we will have a second Scottish referendum cool wink

No, read the submission again. It has started declining, for instance, on a three-month average housing price rose 3.8 percent year-on-year from Jan to March. This was below the 10 percent recorded a year ago and also the lowest in almost 4 years. Hence, one of the reasons Theresa May wants to secure her seat ahead of possible disaster. Alarming to us in the Finacial sector.

hmmmm. have you noticed that juicy roles in the financial services sector are currently being advertised with phrases like ''german, italian or spanish language skills desirable''.

it is only a matter of time before top jobs in the financial sector move outside the UK. undecided

Please, Nigerians in the UK should note Vote the Tories back into power. There are new anti immigrant policies to be implemented by the conservative party. A poor labour government is far better than any Tory government. Please come out en-mass on June 8th and vote out the conservatives. Thank you all.

You don't have to live in the UK to trade global financial markets. In my case, never been to the UK.

There's been improved Labour support since this thread, initially thought it would be a clear cut landslide victory for the Tories
