Tenants of a particular house in Abia state has been given a ridiculous list of items to bring for their landlord's burial by the said landlord's children.

Each tenant living in that house was given a well written memo about the various items each one of them are to submit before the burial date with conditions of when these items should be submitted.

Following what as written in
the list, it says:
“LIST OF ITEMS
TO BE PROVIDED/PERFORMED
BY ALL TENANTS WITH
RESPECT TO LATE MR E.N.
NWACHUKWU’S (YOUR LANDLORD) BURIAL RITES.

See the list of
items to be provided/
performed by every tenant of
MR E.N. NWACHUKWU. His
burial rites as required by
Ngwa’s native laws and customs:

1. 5 CARTON OF BEER

2. 5 CARTON OF MALT

3. 2 HOT

4. 1 IGBO GOAT

5. 4 KOLA-NUT

6. 4 ALLIGATOR PEPPER

7. SUM OF N80,000 (Eighty Thousand Naira only)

The tenants were given three days to provide the items.

Haha. Maybe it's part of the agreement they signed before renting the apartments.

What is wrong with this, as a tenant you are part of the family and required to atleast participate in this type of thing, depends on how many tenants the man has, if they are many , this is just small, at the end, they may be the one to consume all the drinks, let's think positive for once, giving helping hand is not wrong, in some places, if tenants has that of problem, landlord also do same

It the dead landlord has 20 tenants , more or less that are well to do, what is this, Though OP never tell us how many tenants are they, but not to worry, just a helping hand, to do burial in any Igbo land is from 500,000NGN to 800,000NGN or more, you will now agree with me that what the tenants were tasked to bring is just a peanut, i have done this to many people, nothing too big here,
