Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere yesterday came to the rescue of a Motor- Cyclist popularly known as Okada Riders in the local parlance.

Prince Madumere on his way from the burial ceremony of a loved one in Umuneoha, Mbaitoli Local Government area of Imo State ran into an accident with the confusion in the faces of other motorists and others as they could not think of what to do.

As soon as Prince Madumere got to the scene, he stopped his convoy and immediately mobilised for an ambulance and ensured that the victim, who identified himself as Chibuzo Uzozie was immediately moved to the hospital for medical attention.

Prince Madumere who was joined by Dr. Edward Ihejirika, Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Health also made cash donation. This noble work of charity received commendations from the passers by.

Meanwhile, Prince Madumere is a member of Red Cross Society who is well trained in first aides and rescue mission.

We commend the number two citizen of Imo State for his value for life as he has severally hand even more critical situations to save lives. The last was a man he saved recently in Abuja who was alleged to have been involved in crime. There were other precarious situations Madumere had handled to people's amazement.
