The PFA team of the year has been announced, with Chelsea and Tottenham dominating the team with four players each. The teams are voted for by their fellow professionals and have been announced ahead of the PFA Awards which will be presented on Sunday evening.

I have never favored individual accolades in a team sport. But because these sort of awards reward standout performers of players even in a flawed team's season, I beg to disagree. De Gea could not have outperformed Hugo Loris or Tom Heaton this season. Cahill is not match of Virgil Van Dyk of Southampton (prolly because the team has been off form recently, the fine dutch man has been overlooked). Where is Crhistian Erikson? For me, his over all influence in a game is better than Alli's. Ibrahimovic has had a better season all round instead of Lukaku especially when you consider this as his first season in English Top Flight. Arsenal may have been shyty, but Sanchez has had a productive season better than Mane's. Finally, why now? 8 matches at least left to play and that's a whopping 24 points, some of the players mentioned can still become heroic for their clubs!
